Philipp Staab

Prof. Dr. Philipp Staab, who took up his position as professor of “Sociology of the Future of Work” at the ECDF and Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin in February 2019, describes himself as a “sociologist with one foot in political economy”. After completing his doctorate, he was involved, among other things, in various research projects at the Hamburg Institute for Social Research and at the Institute for the History and Future of Work, focusing on technology research, social inequality, digitalization, and the sociology of work...

Florian Butollo

Dr. Florian Butollo is senior advisor at the Enquete Commission „Artificial Intelligence – Social Responsibility and Economic Potential“ of the German parliament. He also joined the newly founded Weizenbaum Institute for the Networked Society, which is coordinated by the WZB, in November 2018.
